Fat Buster Javita Green Tea Smoothie

Fat Buster Javita Green Tea Smoothie


Add the following ingredients to your blender:
2 sticks Javita Lean + Green Tea mixed with 10 oz. chilled water
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 teaspoons agave nectar or Stevia to taste
1 small pear or apple chopped (the apple makes it more tart than the pear)
4 tablespoons plain yogurt
6-8 ice cubes & blend

This will make 2 servings. Enjoy half in the morning when you first wake up, at least 15 minutes before breakfast, and the other half again in the afternoon on an empty stomach. I store the 2nd serving in a mason jar and shake it up for my afternoon Javita smoothie. I was out of fresh lemons this morning so used the commercial lemon juice which works great, too. 
 

 My daughter introduced me to the Mason jar storage idea so I could get away from plastic containers. I precut all my weekly veggies and store them this way too.

Agave is used in this recipe because of where it falls on the low glycemic index. It has a GI of 17 and Stevia has a GI value of 0.

The cayenne pepper can be decreased or increased to your taste buds.
